Mary Magdalene was one of Jesus’ most devoted followers, a key witness to his crucifixion and resurrection. She travelled with Jesus, supported his ministry, and was the first person to see him after he rose from the dead. When the angels told her to “go” in Mark 16:7, she became the first to feel the call and pull of Christ on her life to tell of His resurrection.
Luke 16:6,7
6 “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. 7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as He told you.’”
