We long to please the Lord, yet so often we stumble and fail. Paul’s words in Romans 7 echo in our hearts: “The good I want to do, I do not do…”
Almost like a barren branch. But then I see tiny blossoms sprouting from a bare branch. And I am reminded of His mercy—the gift of a SECOND CHANCE.
Rahab, once a prostitute. David, a murderer. Paul, a persecutor of Christians. Jonah, who ran from God.
Each one redeemed. Each one given another chance.
The bare branch that blossoms becomes a picture of the cross—wood that carried our Savior, the place where mercy and grace flow freely.
Thank You Jesus, that Your mercies are new every morning and that they triumph over judgment.
Lamentations 3:22-23 “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness”.
