When our eldest went on a mission trip to Kenya, she came back with a song that still stirs my heart:
“First it was fragrance, then it turned to fire! My worship is my weapon! This is how I win my battle!”
It reminded me that our biggest battles are often in our minds—and praise and worship are how we overcome. If a flower could capture that moment of heavenly worship, it would be the Iris—radiant, joyful, full of grace.
May these paintings remind you to take time for your Iris moment—to lift your eyes to Jesus, offer your praise, and let Him fight the battle for you.
Read 2 Chronicles 20:1-30 – King Jehoshaphat and his army won the battle not through weapons but through worship, just as the Lord promised in verse 15: “For the battle is not yours, but God’s.”
